What began as a one-time community project to show support and appreciation to law enforcement officers in Seattle has grown into the Blue Hero Project—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting, encouraging and serving our law enforcement community across the Northwest.

Our mission is to provide support, appreciation and encouragement to law enforcement officers and their families across the Northwest. We put our mission into action through agency visits, bringing a wagon filled with snacks and drinks as a tangible expression of gratitude and support; hosting meaningful events for law enforcement families; and assisting officers and agencies in times of need.

Through every interaction, we strive to remind those who serve that they are seen, valued and supported.

About Blue Hero Project

What began as a simple idea to show appreciation to local law enforcement quickly grew into something far greater.

Inspired by other police wives who were raising money to provide treats for their local law enforcement agencies, Diane decided to do the same. She invited her community to join her in purchasing snacks and drinks for Seattle-area police departments as a small but tangible way to show support to those who serve.

The response was overwhelming. Within just one week, more than 55 people from the community came together to donate, raising enough money to bless 10+ departments with snacks and drinks.

As donations continued to come in and the idea grew, Diane and her husband realized this “one-time” project was organically growing into an ongoing effort. Together, they launched the Blue Hero Project and turned the project into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting and encouraging the law enforcement community.

As of May 2026, Blue Hero Project has completed 256 agency visits across the Northwest, providing snacks and drinks to approximately 8,500+ law enforcement officers.

Today, our mission continues to be simple: show up, show support and remind law enforcement that they are seen and appreciated. We visit 3–4 agencies each month, bringing a variety of snacks, drinks, and Bibles for LEO Outreach Kits as a tangible expression of our gratitude and support.

What started as one idea has grown into a community passionate about supporting the men and women who serve—and the families who stand beside them.
