Our Founders

Blue Hero Project was started by Diane and Davin Hwang out of a desire to show support and appreciation to law enforcement officers serving Seattle-area communities. It began as a simple one-time community project and eventually grew to become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization: Blue Hero Project.

As a law enforcement family themselves, the work they do is fueled by their love for their fellow officers and law enforcement families. They are passionate about providing a way for community members, families, businesses and churches to show support and appreciation in practical ways, thru donations and purchases that provide snacks, drinks and Bibles to officers all around the Pacific Northwest.

They believe wholeheartedly that while snacks and drinks do not solve the vast issues faced by law enforcement officers, they are a practical and simple way to show officers that the community sees them, values them and supports them.
